REPLACEMENT OF HEPA FILTERS UNDER THE WORK SURFACE (see diagram for maintenance
operations par. 13A):
1.
Remove the stainless steel work surface (26) from the work chamber (25)
2.
Seal the absolute filters (33) with a cover/PVC panel (not thicker than 5 mm) from the inside of the
cabinet to be fixed on the perimeter with adhesive tape
3.
Remove the lower front panel (36) by unscrewing the clamping screws (37).
4.
Lower the frame of the filters "34" opening the clamping levers "35" and leaving them anchored to the
frame itself; loosen all the nuts "41" of the connecting rods "40" and "42" of the hinges in order to release
completely the frame "34" and to obtain about 20° f ilter inclination towards the front.
5.
Remove the HEPA filters (33) using protective rubber or PVC gloves and throw them into a polythene
hermetic container.
6.
Install the new HEPA filters.
7.
Lock the filters frame "34", first through the relevant clamping levers "35" and then tightening in
sequence the nuts "42" of the connecting rods "41" and the nuts "40" of the hinges.
8.
Close the front panel (36) with the proper screws (37)
9.
Proceed to the necessary procedures of control/calibration of the cabinet.
IMPORTANT: the two main/exhaust HEPA filters as well as the HEPA filters under the work surface
must be replaced at the same time. Normally these filters last for years. Usually only
the HEPA filters under the work surface are changed. Having replaced filters, proceed
with the control of the motor-fan speed and if considered necessary, proceed to a test
with a particle counter and possibly a D.O.P. test. For these operations, contact your
local distributor.

REPLACEMENT OF MOTOR-FANS (by technical assistance personnel)
Replacement of main motor-fan (see diagram for maintenance operations par. 13A):
1.
Switch off the cabinet and disconnect it from the mains
2.
Proceed as indicated in sub-section "Replacement of HEPA filters", points 2, 3 and 4.
3.
remove the fan anemometer (21) by removing the relevant stirrup (22) and disconnect the relvant cables
4.
Unscrew fastening screws (15) of main motor-fan (16)
5.
Disconnect electrical connectors from terminal board.
6.
Remove main motor-fan "16".
7.
Position the new main motor-fan, fasten it with the special screws and reconnect electrical connectors.
Re-position the fan anemometer "21" and fix it with the special stirrup "22"
8.
Proceed as shown in the paragraph "Replacement of HEPA filters " 12, 13, 14 and 15 points.
