PROBLEM
Lift will not lower
Lift raises too
slowly
Lift lowers too
slowly
Lift lowers too
quickly
Presto Lifts
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Down valve may not be
energized
Down Flow control may need
to be adjusted
Voltage may be low
Suction filter, breather cap, or
pressure line may be clogged
Pump may be overheating
due to insufficient oil
Pressure relief valve is
activated.
Down valve may not be fully
opening or may be partially
blocked or stuck closed.
Down Flow control may need
to be adjusted
Down flow control may need
adjustment.
Check for power to the solenoid valve with a volt
meter while pressing the down button.
Adjust down flow control as needed.
Check voltage at motor. Supply voltage must
be ± 10% of the rated voltage at the motor
terminals.
Remove necessary components and clean.
Check fluid level and viscosity.
If there is a loud squealing noise the pressure
relief valve may be activated. – Contact the
manufacturer for assistance.
Remove the down valve and clean. - Contact
Customer Service for procedure.
Adjust the down flow control as necessary.
Adjust down flow control for desired lowering
speed.
