Vegetable Soup

25g butter
1 clove garlic crushed
Cut the following into 1.5cm cubes
400g carrot
300g potato
200g onion
cold vegetable stock
salt and pepper
1 Melt the butter in a pan, add the
onion and garlic and fry until
soft.
2 Place the carrot, potato, onion
and garlic into the blender.
Add sufficient stock to reach
the 1500ml level marked on the
goblet. Fit the lid and filler cap.

Blender or multi
mill leaking
Blender seal
missing from
blade unit when
removed from
packaging.
Poor blending
performance.
If none of the above solve the problem see 'Service and Customer
Care'.
Cause
No Power.
Blender or mill
not assembled or
fitted to power unit
correctly.
Seal missing.
Seal incorrectly fitted.
Seal damaged.
The seal is packed
pre-fitted to the
blade unit.
Mix being processed
too thick or
insufficient liquid
added.
Quantity being
processed too small.
3 Blend on maximum speed for
5 seconds for a coarse soup or
longer for a finer result.
4 Season and simmer the soup for
30-35 minutes or until cooked.
Add extra liquid if required.
Solution
Check blender plugged in.
Check blade assembly is
fully tightened and locked
onto the power unit.
Check seal is fitted
correctly and not
damaged. To obtain a
replacement seal see
'Service and Customer
Care'.
Unscrew goblet or multi
mill jar and check that seal
is fitted to blade unit.
To obtain a replacement
seal see 'Service and
Customer Care'.
Scrape mix down and add
additional liquid.
Trying pulsing first to start
the mixing process.
Do not fill below the
minimum capacity marking
on the goblet.
