INSTALLING THE MUFFLER

Install:
• Gasket
• Muffler assembly
• Muffler nut "1"
• Muffler nut "2"

• Muffler bolt "3"
TIP

Temporarily tighten the muffler nut "1", muffler nut "2", and
muffler bolt "3" until just comes in contact with the surface.

Tighten:
• Muffler nut "1"
• Muffler nut "2"
Muffler nut:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 lb·ft)
• Muffler bolt "3"
Muffler bolt:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 lb·ft)
TIP
Tighten the muffler nuts and muffler bolt to the specified
torque in order of muffler nut "1", muffler nut "2", and muf-
fler bolt "3".
