MAINTENANCE AND ClEANING

• To avoid electric shock, never immerse the appliance in water.
• Before cleaning the thermopot, unplug it and wait for it to cool down
completely.
• Clean the external surfaces of the appliance with a soft damp cloth, and
then dry them with a soft dry cloth.
NOTE
To avoid water contamination and scale formation, change the water in
the tank regularly.
Removing scale
Minerals contained in tap water can accumulate on the inner surfaces of
the thermopot.
To keep your thermopot in good working order, remove the scale inside it
once a month, or more often, depending on the hardness of the water in
your area.
To remove the scale, refill the tank with water to the highest level mark and
add a few drops of white vinegar. Leave the solution in the thermopot for
12 hours or overnight. Then pour out the water, refill the tank with clean
water, boil and drain.
