Descaling tablets (order number 00311864): Dissolve
one descaling tablet, weight 18 g, in 250 ml water for
5 minutes.
Rinsing
If you have not used the steam function for a long time,
rinse the appliance.
To ensure that your appliance stays clean, you can
pump water through the pipe system. The appliance
then drains the water into the drip tray.
Note: After running the rinse cycle, loosened limescale
particles may be in the collecting container. This is nor-
mal and does not affect operation.
Running the rinse cycle
Use the function selector to select .

cannot change the programme duration.
Open the tank cover.

Remove the drip tray and empty it.

Slide the empty drip tray in fully.

sidual water.

Subsequent cleaning
Carry out the following steps after every descaling pro-
gramme or rinse cycle.
Open the tank cover.

Turn the function selector to the zero setting.

Emptying the drip tray
With the cleaning functions, the residual water is collec-
ted in the drip tray. Then empty and dry the drip tray.
ATTENTION!
Heat may damage the drip tray.
Do not dry the drip tray in the hot cooking compart-

Do not clean the drip tray in the dishwasher.

Briefly press on the centre of the tank cover.
