    OPERATION OPERATION Mounting the Head to a Monopod 1. Screw the head onto your monopod. 2. Once attached, make sure the head’s base is flush against the monopod’s top mount. 3. If your monopod has a set screw, tighten it until secure. Mounting the Quick-Release Plate The plate’s 1/4-20 screw will fit most cameras and lenses.

    OPERATION OPERATION Mounting the Camera/Lens 1. Before mounting the camera or lens to the head, make sure the tilt lock knob is fully tightened. 2. Place the quick-release plate and camera/lens into the clamp. 3. Adjust the plate’s position for optimum balance.

    OPERATION Tilt Lock Knob 1. Turn the tilt lock knob counterclockwise to unlock the head. 2. Position the angle of the head, and turn the knob clockwise to tighten it. Important: Always use one hand to hold onto your camera while adjusting the head.

    OPERATION Repositioning the Clamp For convenience, the clamp’s position can be repositioned, so the quick-release knob and the tilt-lock knob are on opposite sides of the head. 1. Remove the quick-release plate. 2. Use the hex key to remove the clamp attachment screw.
