A) Using t he Cont rol Panel, ent er t he AD VAN CED M EN U ( see t he Operat or's Manual for
m enu navigat ion det ails) :

I f using t he GPI O A ( J1) port , configure t he set t ings t o m eet t he requirem ent s of
your syst em using t he PRI N TER OPTI ON S GPI O PORT APPLI CATOR
m enu select ion;
•
I f using t he GPI O B ( J2) port , refer t o your MCL docum ent at ion;
•
I f using t he COM C ( J4) port for serial com m unicat ions, configure t he it t o m eet t he
requirem ent s of your host syst em 's serial port set t ings using t he
COM M UN I CATI ON S SERI AL PORT C m enu select ion; or,
I f using t he COM C ( J4) port for a dedicat ed device, enable t hat device using t he
PRI N TER OPTI ON S m enu select ion; and,
•
I f using t he COM D ( J3) port for serial com m unicat ions, configure t he port t o m eet
t he requirem ent s of your host syst em 's serial port set t ings using t he
COM M UN I CATI ON S SERI AL PORT D m enu select ion.
B) Aft er ent ering t he desired set t ings exit t he m enu syst em and save your changes. The
print er is now ready t o operat e using t he GPI O opt ion.
