sufficient ventilation or evacuation. For hazardous media take particular safety precautions. In particular the exits
of the pressure relief and purge valves are to be released through secure tubings and the materials are to be disposed
safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
2.13 Design changes on the pressure control device
Without written permission from the manufacturer, no changes, extensions or redesign on the pressure control
device or the equipment are to be carried out.
2.14 Cleaning the gas device and disposal of the residue
Do not contaminate the equipment with oily rags or grease. Do not clean with solvents.
3. Storage, Transport
All parts must be packaged cleanly and be stored dust free, dry and well sealed. Correct packaging must be used. Do
not use any cleaning agents containing solvents! Before returning to the manufacturer it is absolutely necessary that
all components must be purged with inert gas, if they have been in contact with corrosive or toxic gases.

4. Technical Data

4.1 Data sheets
All technical data can be seen on the product specific data sheets. These are valid with the general operating
instructions. In particular these are: the permissible operating pressure, the working range of the pressure device, the
materials, the installation, the external dimensions, the tightness, the electrical operating conditions, the permissible
temperature ranges.
4.2 Pressure regulator series C 200
Six (on some pressure regulators four) inlet and outlet ports with NPT 1/4" internal threads enable multiple
connection possibilities. Please always pay attention to the information on "connections" and "start-up" for all
changes.
4.3 Cylinder regulator C 200
Cylinder regulators are designed to be connected directly to gas cylinders to reduce cylinder pressure to lower outlet
pressure areas. The cylinder connections have different threads depending on the gas. Please note.
C 200/1, C 200/2
One stage or two stage (see diagram 1) cylinder regulator design series with a shut-off valve (A), regulating valve (B)
or own gas purging facility.
Cylinder regulators of type P allow purging of the regulator with process gas via the outlet purge valve. Thus they are
particularly suitable for applications which do not tolerate impurities which are introduced in the gas supply system
when changing the cylinder.
