Ulead MediaStudio software

Ulead MediaStudio software, together with Rainbow Runner, turns your computer into a digital
video editing studio. With it, you can create and edit video projects including text, images, sound,
animation and video that you create yourself or record (capture) from a variety of sources.
MediaStudio is a collection of programs you can use to work with video projects. To access
MediaStudio, click

"clips" (text, images, sound, animations or video). With Rainbow Runner, you can capture your own
video files to use as clips in Video Editor.
After you complete your video project, you can save it as a video file, then play it back or distribute
it. You can also transfer that video file to video tape.

For a simplified way to get started with MediaStudio, you can start
on-screen instructions. Video Wizard guides you through some of the steps of creating a video
project. When Video Wizard is finished, it starts Video Editor, where you can continue to work on
your video project (see "Step 3 – Editing
Step 1 – Getting files for clips
To make your own video production, you first need media files to use as clips.
For video clips, you can capture to file from a variety of sources: VCR, video camera or videodisc
player. To do this, you can use the Matrox
program", page 19). If you have a Matrox Rainbow Runner TV card (sold separately), you can also
use PC-VCR Remote to record video from cable TV or an antenna connected directly to your
computer. For best results, make sure all the video files you plan to use together in a video project
are captured with the same settings.
