Emergency Numbers
Althoughtesting the programming of
emergency numbers is not a recom-
mendedprocedure, if you do make a
call to an emergency number:
A. You must remain onthe line and
briefly explain the reasonfor the
call before hangingup.
B. Programmingtesting of
emergency numbers should be
performed in the early morning or .
jate evening (off-peak hours).
Sometelephone equipment gener-
ates and uses radio-frequency
energy and, if not installed and used
properly, may causeinterference to
radio and television reception.
Your AT&T product has beentested
and found to meet the standards
for a Class B digital device, as speci-
fied in Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Thesespecifications are designed to
provide reasonable protection against
suchinterference in a residential
installation. However, there is no
guaranteethat interference will not
occur in a particularinstallation.
If your AT&T product causesinterfer-
enceto radio or television reception
whenit is in use, you might correct

the interference with any one or all of
these measures:
«= Whereit can bedonesafely,
re-orient the receiving television
or radio antenna.
«= To the extent possible, relocate
the television, radio or other
receiver with respect to the
telephone equipment.
t= If your telephone product runs on
AC power, plug your productinto
an AC outlet that is not onthe
samecircuit as one used by your
radio or television.
