Troubleshooting

BUS voltage/mains power failure

All saved datapoints are retained after

any BUS voltage/mains power failure.

Characteristics after restoration of BUS voltage/mains power

The communication objects are scanned

when the BUS voltage/mains power is

restored or following an initialisation via

the EIB system. The communication

objects and their values (if available) are

automatically updated.

Connection fault between the Vitogate 200 and the EIB or LON

system

EIB system

If the connection between the Vito-

gate 200 and the EIB system is interrup-

ted, fault code "98" will be displayed on

the Vitotronic control unit designated as

fault manager.

LON system

No data will be transferred to the EIB

system if a LON subscriber (e.g.

Vitotronic control unit) fails.

The EIB system can display a corre-

sponding error message if the datapoint

error bit or error byte has been assigned

for this LON subscriber.

The Vitogate 200, type EIB is able to

communicate approx. 3 s after the BUS

voltage/mains power has been restored

again.
