Step 2

Mount the expandable guide rails on the mounting rails. Hold an expandable guide rail

horizontally and move it to the planned position. The bottom edge of the expandable guide rail

must be aligned with a scale line on the mounting rails. With the side marked L or R facing the

front of the cabinet, expand the expandable guide rail and hook the positioning pins onto the

mounting rails. Install M6 screws in the top and bottom holes on both sides of the expandable

guide rail to secure it to the cabinet.

Step 3

Install a ﬂoating nut 1U (three mounting holes) above the expandable guide rail on each front

mounting rail.

Step 4

(Optional) If power and fan modules are preinstalled, remove them to lighten the chassis for

easier installation. Holding the handle, press the lock and pull the power or fan module out of the

switch.
