name, or album title) that appears when you press the
DISPLAY button during playback cannot be edited.
About the data structure of the HDD
Artist directory
Album directory
This section explains the data structure of the
HDD and the selection of items.
The artist names, album titles and track titles that
appear in the illustrations below correspond with
those in the illustration above.
1st directory (Artist directory)
When you turn on the unit and select the HDD
function, a list of the artists whose tracks are
stored in the unit's HDD are displayed (only when
the play mode is set to "Continue").

Press  or ENTER.

Track directory
Press  or BACK.
2nd directory (Album directory)
A list of albums for the selected artist appears.
Press  /  to select the desired album.
Album icon
Press  or ENTER.
3rd directory (Track directory)
A list of tracks for the selected album appears.
Press  /  to select the desired album.
Track icon
When you press ENTER, the unit starts playing the
selected track. By pressing BACK during playback,
you can view the track directory.
Tips
 The titles that are displayed in these directories can be
edited.
 When you press DISPLAY during playback, ID3
information for the track appears in the display. ID3
information cannot be edited.
Press  or BACK.
