To fix the hot water element not functioning on the Coway CHP-264L, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the Hot Water Function: Press and hold the Hot Water button for 2 or more seconds until the Hot Water indicator light turns on. Hot water will not dispense unless this is activated.

2. Wait for Heating: After turning on the hot water function, wait about 30 minutes for the water to heat up.
