Feed the document face-down into the Automatic
Document Feeder (ADF).

Pick up the handset or press tON H00Kl and dial
the other party s fax number.

Direct Sending
To scan and transrnit a docurncnt ()ne pge at u tirnc without storing it in memory first,
lirllorv the stcps below. 1'his proccdure is called
"Direct sending".
Use Dircct Scnding it'you want to visually contirm that the FAXPHONE scans the
docurnent. tach nace is scanned as it is sent.
Feed the document face-down into the Automatic
Document Feeder (ADF).
