Installing Power Supplies for Rear Mount Trays
1.
Orient t he power supply as shown below. Insert t he guide pins (locat ed on eit her side of t he DB-15
connect or) int o t he guide hol es in t he rear of t he chassis.
2.
Push t he power supply int o place unt il t he connect or is f ully seat ed and t ight en t he t humb screw at
t he f ront of t he power supply unit .
3.
For redundant power supply conf igurat ions, repeat t hese st eps using t he power supply connect or
and t humb screw hole locat ed at t he ot her side of t he chassis and power supply t ray.
Note. The swit ch does not provide an on/ of f swit ch. Inst ead, t he swit ch powers
on when a power cord is plugged int o t he power supply' s f ront panel and
plugged int o a power source.
