All types of juice should be consumed
right after juicing, as fresh juice
quickly loses important nutrients as
well as taste when exposed to the
oxygen in the air.
Pure apple juice turns brown quickly
when exposed to air. To prevent
discolouration, serve apple juice im-
mediately after juicing or add a little
lemon juice.
RECIPES
The slow juicer can squeeze many differ-
ent types of fruit and vegetables, offering
many different juice options.
Popular combinations:
Apple, carrot, ginger
Carrot, pear, fresh chilli
Beetroot, apple, celery
Apple, cucumber, lemon
For optimal use of the slow juicer, it is
advisable to look for information and
inspiration regarding the various fruits and
vegetables on the internet or the many
books written about juice and its positive
effects on the body.
Tip!
In addition to fresh, nutritious juice, the
pulp produced by the slow juicer also has
other uses:
The pulp is excellent as an ingredient
in baked goods. Try using the pulp
from vegetables such as cauliflower,
broccoli and fennel.
Get vitamins by adding vegetable
pulp to meat sauces or meatballs.
Tomato pulp is an excellent topping
on bruschetta.
Cucumber can be used directly in
tzaziki.
