FILTERS
Cleaning the canister
filter
To maintain suction, the
pleated filter must be shaken
clean each time the dust
canister is emptied. Failure to
clean the filter will reduce suction
and could damage the motor if
used for a prolonged period. This
may invalidate the guarantee. If
the filters become damaged,
they must be replaced.
To remove it from the dust
canister lid, turn the filter quarter-
of-a-turn anti-clockwise G.
To thoroughly clean it, wash it
regularly, but it must be left to
thoroughly air dry before
re-use.
IMPORTANT: Do not wash filters
with detergents.
IMPORTANT: Do not use heated
appliances to dry filters.
Changing/cleaning
the motor protection
filter
The motor protection filter must
be checked and, if necessary,
cleaned every time the dust
canister is emptied.
The motor protection filter ı is
located underneath the dust
canister H.

Remove the dust canister.

Lift out the filter and shake over
a dustbin.

To clean, shake or brush the
filter over a dustbin. The filter
may also be washed but must
be left to thoroughly air dry
before re-use.
IMPORTANT: Do not wash filters
with detergents.

appliances to dry filters.

The exhaust filter must be
checked and, if necessary,
cleaned every time the dust
canister is emptied.

below the dust canister
compartment.
Remove the front cover ‹.

lifting it away I.

Take the filter out of the cage
and shake vigorously over a
dustbin.

To clean, shake or brush the
filter over a dustbin. The filter

CHANGING THE BELT

If the brush bar stops rotating, it
is likely that the drive belt has
snapped (usually because the
brush has been stalled). A spare
belt is supplied. Replacement
belts can also be obtained from
Morphy Richards by calling the
helpline number at the base of
the page.
