You can change the factory settings of the
input buttons to suit the components in your
system. For example, if you connect a DVD
player to the VIDEO 2 IN jacks on the
receiver, you can set the VIDEO 2 button on
this remote to control the DVD player.
Note, however, that the settings of the TUNER
button cannot be changed.

Press RM SET UP for more than
2 seconds.
The indicator lights up.

Press the input button of which
you want to change the
assignment.
The indicator turns off once and turns on
again when a valid button is pressed. Only
the first input button that is pressed will
be registered.
Example: Press VIDEO 2.

Referring to the table below,
press the input button for the
category you want.
The indicator turns off when a valid
button is pressed.
Example: Press DVD once.

Press SOURCE.
The new assignment is registered.
The indicator slowly lights up twice, then
goes off.
To cancel
Press RM SET UP during any step.
Tip
If the operation is unsuccessful, the indicator flashes
four times and the remote automatically exits the
button assignment mode. In this case, the new
assignment is not registered and the previous setting
remains.
Notes
• If you do not press a button during step 2 through 4
within 60 seconds, the remote automatically exits
the button assignment mode. Start again from step
1.
• In step 3, if you press the same button more than
the possible number of categories that can be
selected, only the last category is registered for the
new assignment.
