17. Using your labels, replace the PCIe risers and adapters. For instructions, see "Replacing a PCIe
adapter in the 8001-12C or 8005-12N system" on page 36. Replace the riser next to the power supply
first.
18. Replace the eight fan power connectors into the system backplane. For instructions, see "Replacing a
system fan in the 8001-12C or 8005-12N" on page 21.
19. Using your labels, replace the memory DIMMs. For instructions, see "Removing and replacing
memory in the 8001-12C or 8005-12N" on page 29.
20. Install the processor air baffle as shown in Figure 61 on page 54. Insert the edge of the baffle into the
fan support. Then, carefully press the baffle down into place.
