media installation

There are 2 media options for this appliance: river rocks and driftwood logs, or white pebbles. See below for
installation details.

4.3.1 river rock and driftwood log installation

The front glass must be removed and the appliance must be secured in its final location before the river rocks and
driftwood logs are installed.
1. Carefully place the river rocks into the media tray on the front and back of the appliance.
2. Apply an even layer from side to side.
3. Place the driftwood logs on top of the river rocks as illustrated (Fig. 4-5).
note:
Do NOT cover triangular covers on the back side of the appliance. Blocking the triangular covers with media will
alter the flame appearance (Fig. 4-6).

4.3.2 white pebble installation

The front glass must be removed and the appliance must be secured in
its final location before the white pebbles are installed.
1. Carefully place the white pebbles into the media tray on the front
and back of the appliance.
2. Apply an even layer from side to side (Fig. 4-7).
note:
Do NOT cover triangular covers on the back side of the appliance.
Blocking the triangular covers with media will alter the flame
appearance (Fig. 4-6).
