Never leave material in hopper between storms, or when storing. Ice melters are hygroscopic and will attract moisture and harden up. Empty the spreader and clean it after each use to prevent ice melter from building up and covering metal parts, causing corrosion. © TrynEx International 2013 (REV B) F50729A...

Use the On/Off button to turn the spreader off between jobs. The Start/Stop pauses spreading, but the vibrator will stay on. Use Start/Stop for when you need to pause spreading for a short time. Use Blast to momentarily increase the application rate – the spreader will operate at full speed until the button is released. © TrynEx International 2013 (REV B) F50729A...

Leave these baffles at the factory setting until you have run some material through the spreader at different speeds. The Baffles may need adjusted for different materials, or if the Distribution Shaft is getting too much material, due to an easily flowing material. Use an 1/2” wrench for the bolts. © TrynEx International 2013 (REV B) F50729A...
