 When you first
turn on the projec-
tor, you will get the
Startup menu. This
menu gives you the
opportunity to select
the menu languages.
To select the language,
,

use the
, or
button on the
remote control. Select
your language. Refer
to Language on page
39.
While the POWER
indicator is blinking
green in short cycles,
the power cannot be
turned off by using the
power button.
(*)When "Normal" is
selected for "Standby
Mode",the Power LED
will turn red; when
"Network standby" is
selected for "Standby
Mode", the Power LED
will turn orange.
Turn on the projector
first and then the signal
sources.
If you turn on the
projector immediately
after the lamp is
turned off or when the
temperature is high,
the fans run without
displaying an image for
a while and then the
projector will display
the image.

Powering On the Projector

1. Securely connect the power cord and signal cable. When
connected, the POWER/STANDBY LED will turn Orange.
2. Turn on the projector by pressing "POWER" on the remote
control or
on the control panel. At this moment, the
POWER/STANDBY LED will now turn Green. 
The startup screen will display in approximately 10 seconds.
The first time you use the projector, you will be asked to
select the preferred language and power saving
3. Turn on your source (computer, notebook, video player,etc.)
The projector will detect your source automatically.
 I f you connect multiple sources at the same time, press the
"SOURCE" button on the control panel or direct source keys
on the remote control to switch between inputs.
