Packet Reception, Buffer Overflow:** Number of packets ignored because the buffer to store
them overflowed.
Packet Reception, Syntax:** Number of packets ignored because of a syntax error.
Packet Reception, Other:** Number of packets ignored because receiver firmware was unable to

"Fixed" are factory pre-set, "variable" are under operator control.
Fixed, Serial #: Unique serial number ID of receiver to which a network may specifically
address commands (either individually or as a member of a group). The serial number is always 6
ASCII digits.
Fixed, Header: Unique identifier for a network. The header to a command packet sent via the
auxiliary data channel must usually match this before the receiver considers itself in
communication with its network. The header ID must be 4 ACII characters.
Fixed, ANCS Control: "Required" indicates that the receiver expects to regularly receive
network command packets with a valid header. In this case, if these headers are not received, the
receiver will time out and go into Header Search acquisition mode.
Variable, No ANCS Timeout: Time a network-contolled receiver will await a network-header on
a carrier before reverting to Header Table Search mode.
Variable, ANCS Seek Time: Time a receiver will await a network-header on a carrier in the
search table before giving up and moving on to the next entry in that table.
Variable, ANCS Search Time: Time that a receiver will remain in Header Table Search Mode
awaiting a network-header before reverting to Satellite Header Search Mode.
