Synthesizer Frequency: (Refer to RC command outputs while signal is being tracked.)
Initial DAC Setting: (Refer to RC command outputs while signal is being tracked.) The word
"initial" refers to the starting point for the signal search.
Distance from Middle: Current receiver tuning (relative to starting point) in signal search
pattern.
Acquisition Mode:
Acquisition mode per paragraph 3.1. Possible responses are "Fade,"
"Installation," "Search" (for Carrier Table Search), and "Header" (for Header Table Search), and
"Satellite" (for Satellite Header Search).
Acquisition Range: Width of signal search pattern: ± 110 kHz for "Narrow," and ± 2.5 MHz for
"Wide."
Time in Current Mode: Elapsed time in present mode.
Total Time Acquiring: Elapsed time since power-up or signal-search began, whichever is less.
This may be the sum of time spent in several different acquisition modes.
Acquisition Difficulties: During current signal search, number of times receiver's demodulator
acquired a carrier which had no MPEG-compressed data, or a missing or incorrect carrier-ID
frequency tag.
Last Carrier Acquired: Carrier frequency of last carrier receiver was successfully tracking before
current search.
Output for RC H:
"Carrier History"*
* All of the following are tabulated over the current time period and over the preceding (to that
current time period) 24 hours. The "current time period" is defined as the remainder left over
after dividing the total time since power-up by 24 hours. (EXAMPLES: 4 hours since power up,
current time is 4 hours; 55 hours since power up, current time is 55-48= 7 hours.)
Alarms, Excessive Error Count: Enumerates each instance an excessive error-count initiated
audio squelching.
Alarms, No MPEG: Number of times that the receiver entered an alarm state because of no
MPEG decoder frame-sync indication.
Alarms, Search Mode: Number of times receiver acquisition mode reverted to Carrier Table
Search mode.
Acquisitions, Total Time Acquiring: Total time receiver spent trying to acquire signals, not
necessarily the one being currently tracked, if applicable.
Acquisitions, Time in Carrier Search Mode: Total time receiver spent in Carrier Table Search
mode.
Acquisitions, Interrupted Acquisitions: Number of times receiver was requested to seek a new
carrier signal while it was still trying to acquire another.
