2-3-3. Video Gain Adjustment
Preparation
1. Connect each equipment referring to 2-1-3, "Connection - Video Adjustment."
2. Set the power switch of CA to OFF and extend the DIF-67 board.
3. Extend connectors CN3 (red) and CN4 (green) on the DIF-67 board. (Refer to 1-10-2, "Extending PC
Board".)
4. Warm up for approximately ten minutes in the procedures below before performing the adjustment.
(1) Set the SDI/COMPOSITE switch on the outside panel of CA to COMPOSITE.
(2) Set the power switch of CA to INPUT and the power switch of a camcorder to ON.
(3) Warm up for approximately ten minutes.
5. Video signal generator 8 75% color-bar signal (setup 7.5%)
Adjustment
1. Measure video level A of a video signal generator.
Measurement equipment: Waveform/Vector monitor
Setting: DISPLAY 8 WFM
Measurement point:
Video signal generator output
2. Switch the inputs of a waveform monitor and vector monitor and measure video level B of a VIDEO/
SDI OUT connector.
Measurement equipment: Waveform/vector monitor
Setting: DISPLAY 8 WFM
Measurement point:
VIDEO/SDI OUT connector
