Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD/Cas-
sette compartment.

Press the button to start playback.
When playback is performed using the remote control, press

Fast forward/rewind:
To advance the tape, press the button on the main unit or the
button on the remote control. To rewind it, press the

Caution:
z To remove the cassette, press the button, and then open the
compartment.
z Before changing from one tape operation to another, press the
button.
z If a power failure occurs during tape operation, the tape head will
remain engaged with the tape and the CD/Cassette compartment
will not open. In this case, wait until the power is restored.
z Even if the ( ) button is pressed during tape playback, the unit
will not enter the pause mode.
