    Turn on your System Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on. Listening to a CD Press the FUNCTION button until “CD STOP” appears on the display. If no disc is loaded, the display will be “NO DISC” instead of “CD STOP”. Press the 7 7 7 7 7 OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD/Cas- sette compartment.

    Listening to a Cassette Tape Press the FUNCTION button until “TAPE” appears on the display. Press the 7 7 7 7 7 OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD/Cas- sette compartment. Load a cassette into the cas- sette compartment with the side to be played facing up.
