Install equipment in the cabinet or rack. Always begin component installation at the
bottom of the cabinet and work upward. Install components at the lowest available
space for that component type.
Placement of the equipment in the cabinet is dependent on the type of power
distribution units installed in the cabinet. Refer to the equipment stack up guidelines
for each type of power distribution.
Install the servers as described in the following sections. Most of the servers will
l
function as VxFlex Ready Node nodes, and at least one will function as a
management server. The procedures for physical installation in the rack or cabinet
apply to both types. Once the servers have been installed, refer to the VxFlex
Ready Node Hardware Configuration and Operating System Installation Guide (for
your system's operating system), for server configuration and operating system
installation procedures.

Assuming installation is into an empty rack, always begin component installation at the
