Before Leaving Japan
■ Subscription
• "WORLD WING" is always applied together with your
subscription. Contact My docomo, docomo Shop or docomo
Information Center for details.
• A UIM made available for WORLD WING must be inserted in
this terminal.
■ Power source and voltage in the country or region of
stay
• Countries and regions may have different power sources,
voltages or power outlet shapes. Check these in the
INSTRUCTION MANUAL for your PC or websites of the PC
manufacturer in advance.
■ Network setup
• You can change network setup from overseas. (→P92)
■ Usage charge
• The charge for usage (bill for packet communication)
abroad is different from the charge in Japan.
■ Internet access
• For overseas access points or settings for using the
Internet overseas, contact your ISP.
• If you subscribe to mopera U, visit the mopera U website.

While Overseas
■ Switching networks
Searching for and connecting to an access point are
performed automatically by default. No special settings
are required.
■ Main screen display area
The name of the connected carrier is displayed if "オペ
レータ名表示設定(Operator name display)" is set to "表示す
る(Display)". (→P92)
Also the information of the internet being connected is
displayed. (→P53)
Note
• You can manually switch networks if you want to connect
to a particular network. See procedure 3 of "Configuring
Network". →P93
Inquiries overseas
If your UIM is lost or stolen overseas, contact DOCOMO
immediately and temporarily suspend your subscription.
For inquiry information, see "docomo Information Center"
on the back of this manual. Call or data communication
charge will still on you after the terminal was lost or stolen.
