3.3 Turning on the Power
To turn on the power, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the monitor.

2. Turn on the main power switch on the front panel.
The GV-Control System will run a series of self-tests, and later series of messages may be
displayed as the various hardware and software subsystems are activated.
Note: The series of self-tests will take around 20 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the
number of installed hard drives.
