10.6 WINDROWING _________________________________________________________

NOTE: The Arrow indicates direction of travel.
Probable Cause
Grass is too tall.
Mowing while grass is wet.
Grass built up on roller.
Grass collecting on mower or cutting unit
frame.
"Windrowing" is a increase of cut grass in the corner
of the cutting units or between the cutting units, that
leaves lines in the direction of travel.
Remedy
Mow more often.
Mow when grass is dry.
Clean rollers and scrapers.
Clear cutting unit(s) discharge deflector.
