Wall Mounting

The product can be attached to a wall to provide a convenient
storage and charging point for the appliance.
When fixing to a wall, make sure that the fixing method is
suitable for the wall type and is appropriate to the weight of
the appliance.
Mark the location of the screw holes (within reach of an
u
electrical outlet for chargeing the vac while it is on the wall
bracket).

Replacing the filters

The filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months and when-
ever worn or damaged.
Replacement filters are available from your Black & Decker
dealer (cat. no. VF90):
Fitting the accessories (fig D)
The appliance is supplied with the following accessories:
A right angle brush tool (12) for upholstery
u
An extension hose (13)
u
A hose connector (14)
u
A crevice tool (15) for deep openings
u
To fit an accessory, proceed as follows:
Fit the hose connector (14) onto the nose of the appliance
u
and attach one end of the hose (13) to the connector.
Attach the right-angled brush tool (12) or the crevice tool
u
(15) to the other end of the hose.
When not in use, the accessories can be stored in the
u
storage bag (Provided).
Battery

If you want to dispose of the product yourself, the
battery must be removed as described below and
disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Run the battery down completely.
u
Remove the dust bowl.
u
Remove the two screws and lift off the housing.
u
Detach all lead connections from the battery pack.
u
Remove battery pack and place in suitable packaging to
u
ensure that the terminals cannot be short-circuited.
Take the battery to your service agent or to a local recy-
u
cling station.
Once removed, the battery cannot be refitted.
