Chapter 5 Diagnostics and Maintenance

This printer is highly reliable. For precaution, this chapter recommends solutions to problems. In
the meantime, we describe some guidelines to maintain the printer in good conditions.
Follow the safety guideline to prevent harms to the operators and the printer.

5.1 Diagnostics

This list provides recommended solutions to the problems. Consult the re-seller's customer
support if faults persists.

Recommended Solutions
 Ensure secure connections from the printer
socket to the wall socket.
 Ensure to use power cord dedicated for this
printer.
 Check the switch box if the fuse is intact.
Use supplied print head cleaning kit to clean

the head.
Remove the blocking media from the head

and clean the adhesive left on the head with a
cloth soaked with alcohol .

Install genuine and correct type of ribbon for

your media.
Adjust different

combinations.
Choose the proper density in the menu or

driver settings.
Clean the rollers with alcohol. Replace them if

