1 Introduction The PLM-Combi-Sensor expands the possibilities of your SOMNOtouch NIBP to record periodic leg movements. This instruction manual gives you information on the application and sensor specific settings. Please note the main instruction manual of the SOMNOtouch NIBP. Please refer to the safety notes in the main manual of the SOMNOtouch NIBP. Device and sensors may not be used in live sustaining or life supervising measures.

The following window opens. Select the PLM l/r sensor and assign it to the list of “Selected” sensors. Now activate the PLM sensor to add it to your montage. The PLM sensor will appear in the picture.
To save this montage, press the “Save as” button (green arrow) and enter a name as depicted in the figure below. After clicking the “OK” button, the new montage will appear in the list of available montages. Having completed the initialization steps (see chapter 6.1 of the main manual), you can proceed to attaching the PLM sensors which is described in the next chapter.
4 Analysis - Global Settings DOMINO light In all analysis settings you can change the settings of the parameters for the analysis, the colour display of the analysis curves and the colour classification of the events (click at the colour field; red frames in the figures).
4.1 LM-Analysis (LM: Leg Movement) The LM Analysis detects periodic leg movements during sleep and restless legs during the day. Periodic leg movements can be the reason for disturbed sleep and require further diagnostic. This motor analysis can provide the diagnosis of Restless Legs together with the clinical symptoms.
