ponents in the electrical box. When installation is complete, the
cable clamp must be closed and the cover of the electrical box
must also be hermetically closed.
Models with the "PERFORMANCE" filtering group (spa-
pak) : the power cable must be connected to the junction box
provided. The pump of the spa-pak, the spa pump, and the elec-
trical control box of the spa will also be connected to it.
NOTE: using this type of connection, the spa-pak pump will
operate at the same time as the spa pump when it is running
at low speed. When the spa pump is run at high-speed (hy-
dromassage), the spa-pak pump will remain off, with a signif-
icant reduction in the flow rate of water to the sand filter. If in-
tensive use of the spa is expected, it is suitable to provide sep-
arate electric power to the spa-pak so that external filtering can
be performed even when the hydromassage is turned on.
In any case, please refer to the respective installation manual.
The cable path, choice of materials and most suitable in-
stallation solutions are left to the professional knowledge
and experience of the installer; it is his responsibility to guar-
antee and certify the installation.
JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
If installation is carried out by personnel unqualified and/or u-
nauthorised to certify the work carried out.
If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric
systems of buildings in the country in which installation is car-
ried out are not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained
in this manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for instal-
lation.

provisions.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of
protection of the electrical equipment against water jets, mod-
ify the protection against electrocution due to direct or indirect
contact, or produce abnormal conditions of insulation, current
leakage or overheating.

Check that the filter cartridge (or cartridges) is(are) present
in its container and that the cover is firmly closed (see the chap-
ter on "maintenance of the cartridge filter").
NOTE: For models with the "Performance" filtering group (s-

of the bag of accessories and screw it into the drain valve.

Fill the MaxiJacuzzi
i
(
2, detail A).
Filling will be performed as decided beforehand by the
customer (see pre-installation sheet, "Preparation for in-
stallation" chapter).
If you use the hose for garden work, let water run for
a while before filling the MaxiJacuzzi. This will elim-
inate stagnant water in the hose along with any bac-
teria that may cause irritations.
CAUTION
We suggest having the water that you intend to
use to fill the MaxiJacuzzi
concerning water hardness. Water that is too soft
or too hard may damage some of the compo-
nents of the tub (see the paragraph "Water hard-
ness"), whereas impurities in well water may clog
the cartridge filters and create problems with the
pumps and the hydraulic system.
Turn on the all-pole circuit breaker located on the power
supply line (see the chapter and "Electrical Connections"
safety).
Notes:
- When first turned on, all of the numbers and LEDs on the
control panel will turn on. Following, the display will show the
codes for the software and firmware versions.
- In general, when the spa is filled for the first time, the water
temperature is lower than the set point set by the factory 35
°C). For this reason, the circulation pump and heater are
turned on. In any case the control panel will display the tem-
perature of the water in the tub.
- If the message "FLO" appears on the display, the pressure
switch/flow switch of the heater may be faulty. Please see
chapter "Abnormal operating conditions - Alarm signals".
