NOTE: Do not handle logs with your bare hands. Always
wear gloves to prevent skin irritation from log material.
After handling the logs, wash your hands with soap and
water to remove any traces of fibers.
NOTE: Prior to installing the log set, you must first install
the pin brackets on the burner. The air deflection glass and
glass media should only be installed after the pin brackets
are in place. The air deflection glass should be installed
prior to placing glass media on the burner. The logs must
then be placed in the unit after the glass media and air
deflection glass. If the optional logs are added to the appli-
ance after installation of deflective glass and glass media,
move the glass media away from the pin location holes
on the firebox bottom assembly as per Figure 7.5 or 7.7.

1. Mount the four log support pin brackets using mount-
ing holes and screws provided in locations indicated
in Figure 7.5 for the front and rear log. Only one hole
of the pin bracket will be used to secure the pin to the
outside of the burner assembly base. The other hole
remains unused and rests on the mesh area. Next,
arrange glass media evenly across the burner again.
