Final Installation

A. Black Magic Glass Installation
NOTE: Black Magic Glass does not ship standard with
the 42" appliances. This option must be purchased sepa-
rately with the AVFL42BGL kit.
NOTE: Before beginning installation remove the two L
shaped brackets from the manual pack along with two #8
phillips head screws.
NOTE: After gas and electric are connected and the
appliance has been test fired the glass can be installed.
1. Remove the screen from the front of the appliance.
2. Remove the screw holding the burner tray to the side
of the appliance for shipping.
3. Remove the right and left black glass bracket that are
shipped in place. Save bracket and screws for installing
black glass. See Figure 7.1.

4. Remove the rear black glass bracket that is shipped
in place. Save bracket and screws for installing black
glass. (Not needed on See Through appliance) See
Figure 7.2.

5. (Skip this step for See Through Appliances) Place the
rear glass panel against the rear wall of the firebox,
resting behind the burner assembly. The dimples in
the glass will face the firebox. Reinstall the rear black
glass bracket.
6. Place the left side panel between the burner assembly
and firebox, resting to the left of the burner assembly.
Reinstall the left black glass bracket.
7. Repeat step 6 on the right side black glass.
