Stowage areas

Stowage compartment/telephone com-
partment under the armrest

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, a
USB port and an AUX-IN jack or a Media
Interface are installed in the stowage com-
partment. A Media Interface is a universal
interface for portable audio equipment, e.g.
®
for an iPod
rate Audio or COMAND operating instruc-
tions).

There is a removable stowage tray in the
storage compartment, in which objects
such as an iPod

Luggage nets

WARNING
Only place lightweight objects in the luggage
net. Do not use it to transport heavy, sharp-
edged or fragile objects. The luggage net can-
not secure the objects sufficiently in the event
of an accident.
Luggage nets are located in the front-
passenger footwell and on the back of the
driver's and the front-passenger seat.
Through-loading facility in the rear
compartment
The through-loading facility is opened from
the luggage compartment.
Unlatch the rear seat backrests and tilt

them in the cargo/load position.
Fold down the rear seat armrest.

Pull the centre head restraint on the rear
X
bench seat into the uppermost position

page 94).

Slide release catch : to the left and swing

flap ; to the left until it is lying on the rear
side of the rear bench seat.
