SYMPTOM

Laser system

and is evident
on a single meas-
urement axis.
CAUSE

Misalignment of the
optics resulting in
cosine error.

ACTION
1. Check output of com-
pensation circuit by
using program that con-
tinually outputs the
number. (Refer to
Section IV.)
