21. Remove the plastic cover protecting the refractory target wall. Using dry rags, wipe up any water overspray that may have occurred
during the cleaning process.
22. Remove the plastic bag used to protect the electrical components
23. Remove the condensate trap from the boiler and clean. With some model boilers it may be necessary to remove a side panel to access
the condensate trap. If so, remove the Philips head screws holding the cover to the frame. Pull the front edge of the cover away from the
boiler approximately 2 inches, then lift the entire side panel up towards the ceiling to release the rear retaining tabs. Remove the trap by
unscrewing the drain hose and top connection, do not lose the rubber gaskets. Disconnect the 2 condensate safety circuit wires (if
equipped). Clean the trap thoroughly, reassemble, pre-fill with water, reattach the condensate safety circuit wires (do not reverse their
proper locations) and reinstall. Hand tighten all connections. Reinstall the side panel if removed.
