Suzuki highly recommends the use of alcohol-free
unleaded gasoline with a minimum pump octane rating of
89 (R/2+M/2 method) or 94 (Research method). However,
blends of unleaded gasoline and alcohol with equivalent
octane content may be used.
• API classification: SG, SH, SJ, SL, SM or NMMA
certified FC-W oil
• Viscosity rating: SAE 10W-40 or 10W-30,
NMMA FC-W 10W-40 or 10W-30
8.0 (8.5/7.0): Oil change only
8.5 (9.0/7.5): Oil filter change
SUZUKI Outboard Motor Gear Oil or SAE 90 hypoid gear
oil, API classification GL-5.
