If the optional duplex unit is attached
• Open the top cover and remove the toner cartridge. (→ p. 13)
• Pull out the paper cassette. (→ p. 13)
• Separate the rear unit of the duplex unit from the printer.
• Open the top cover of the duplex unit.
• Pull out the jamming treatment tray from the front of the duplex unit and remove it.
Paper flow during duplex printing
Paper passes through the printer by the route indicated in the diagram below. If
a paper jam occurs, use the message on the display and the diagram below as
a guide to check the position of the paper jam.
