You may have purchased one of three bases for mounting the umbrella. The components comprising the base

mount system are in separate boxes from the umbrella. Locate your base mount system boxes, and assemble

the base system prior to removing the umbrella from the protective plastic bag.

Page 3 MISTRAL 27/11/17 STEP 1 After assembling the base, remove the umbrella from the protective bags and set umbrella down on top of the bag to keep the canopy clean during the assembly. Loosen the fastening wheel(s) on the tube attached to the base, lift the umbrella and slide the pole into the tube. Turn the fastening wheel(s) clockwise until tight to secure the umbrella in the tube.
