The ambient temperature sensor (see "3.2 First Use") is disabled:
Position [button D] on the flame symbol (diagram to left)
The "output indicators" corresponding to the selected Output Level should be on

as in the example "Output Level 3"
Choose the desired Output Level (1 to 5) with [button B]:

In this example "Output Level 3"
To turn off, press [button A] for 5 seconds:

"Power On LED" starts flashing
