Essential actions

Prior to using pellets - IMPORTANT:
• Set the air flow regulator to "pellets" (page 3.6):
• Check that there are no obstructions below the pellet distributor which might
hinder pellets dropping into the crucible.
• Remove ash from the crucible to ensure adequate airflow for combustion and that
it is properly positioned in its holder.
• If the stove is off: empty the ash pan before turning on.
• If the stove is set to using logs, ensure that the ash pan has the capacity to absorb
the ash from a full hopper load of pellets
= ¾ of the total volume of the ash pan.
• Ensure that the hearth door is closed
properly.
• Close the hopper cover
• Read and apply the instructions in this
manual.
