Troubleshooting

Testing the Docking Station
Symptom
Robot doesn't leave docking station.
NOTE: Forgot PIN? Contact
customer service
Robot's initial tracking is incorrect.
Robot does not reconnect to
charging blades on return to
docking station.
Normal Robot Mower Use
Symptom
Excessive vibration and noise.
Working time between charges
decreases.
Robot does not leave docking
station after rain sensor is activated.
First Robot Mower Use
Symptom
Robot leaves boundary area or
stops beyond boundary line.

Cause
PIN not entered correctly.
Battery is not charged.
Docking station not installed
correctly.
Boundary wire not installed
correctly.
Boundary wire not installed
correctly.
Interference from underground
power source.
Docking station is not level.
Cause
Cutting system unbalanced;
blades are dull.
Blade disc is damaged.
Disc retaining screws loose.
Charging contacts are dirty.
Battery capacity diminished.
Rain sensor is still activated.
Cause
Wheels are obstructed.
Grass is wet and/or slope is
too close to boundary edge.
Action
Enter factory default PIN (0000) or
PIN set by user.
Allow robot to charge until battery
symbol has 4 bars on LCD screen.
IN arrow on docking station should
point to inside of working area.
Wire end routed under docking
station should be connected to the
positive (+) metal prong.
Adjust boundary wire so robot
follows desired path.
Reroute boundary wire around
obstacle source.

Action
Turn power off and reverse or
replace all three blades.
Replace blade disc.
Tighten screws securely.
Clean charging contacts on the
robot and the docking station.
Brush lightly with steel wool.
Replace battery.
Dry and clean metal contacts.
Then restart robot mower.
Action
Remove debris from mowing area
and/or clean robot's wheels.
Reroute boundary wire to avoid
slope. Do not operate in wet
conditions.
