MACHINE COMPONENTS

The air pump or blower is the key component in the
Ultra-Vac® and is driven by the diesel engine
through a belt drive system. The blower moves air
through the machine. On the intake side, the
blower creates a vacuum in the receiver tank and
intake lines for picking up grain. Grain is separated
from the stream of air in the receiver tank.
Some items shown may be optional
On the discharge side of the blower, the
pressurized air flows through the airlock where it
picks up a metered quantity of grain and moves it
out the lines to the discharge cyclone.
The airlock is rotated by the same power source
as the blower.
