PROBLEM
Slow discharge of grain (cont'd).
Pulsation.
Blower overheating.
Product damage.
Blower bogging down.
Hydraulics overheating.
CAUSE
Defective blower.
Defective airlock.
Improper setting of flow control
valve.
Not enough air flow.
Too many bends.
Not enough air flow.
Low oil level.
Liners worn out.
Poor connections.
Lines wearing.
Excessive RPM speed.
Dirt from pre-cleaner going
through blower.
Low oil level.
SOLUTION
Check clearance between lobes
and case. Excessive clearance
will decrease air flow. Consult
your dealer.
Check that tip clearance is 0.004
inches. Adjust or replace tips as
required.
Reset flow control.
Open air slide on nozzle to
provide more air.
Increase blower speed or
decrease size of intake piping.
Straighten out intake line.
Open air slide on nozzle to
provide more air.
Add oil as required.
Replace wear liners in discharge
cyclone.
Tighten and seal all connections.
Eliminate elbows. Keep lines
straight as possible and provide a
large radius for bends.
Decrease air flow by slowing
blower or increasing size of the
lines.
Increase grain quantity by closing
air slide.
Clean pre-cleaner tank. Clean
more frequently in dirty conditions.
Check engine oil level. Add as
required.
